This is America's Heartland!
We live in the prairielands of North Central Illinois, in the middle of corn fields, bean fields and wildflowers. Right now we have government ground across from us that has become a wildlife preserve for pheasant and quail, and various other critters. We discover many interesting things at farm sales, auctions, estate sales, etc. Some things we keep, some we share with you! After seven years of eBaying, however, the "keeping" part is happening less and less. We take pride in what we do, and I think our feedback testifies to that. We admit we are not "purists," as we might think an item is great even if it has a flaw or two. We will tell you about it, and let you decide. We think older items still have "class" even if they aren't perfect. Like us, we get more flawed with age!:) Always feel free to email with special requests!
BOOKS, TOYS, AND OTHER JOYS!!
That's our "theme." We love books, and we enjoy helping you find your long lost book from childhood! We specialize in vintage paper items, such as greeting cards,postcards, Valentines, Holiday(particularly Christmas)items,photos and ephemera of any kind. We love toys too!! My husband has a penchant for glassware(Depression and Carnival) and porcelain, especially older Japan, German or Bavarian marks. Lefton is my personal favorite. Christmas is another penchant of ours. Again, we find Christmas treasures at sales, keep some and sell others. Just do not have room for it all! We enjoy Hollywood memorabilia as well!
