Now that you are getting to know me better, here is a picture of my youngest daughter in the dress I made for her Winter Dance. I used Simplicity #4258. I altered the sleeves and the overskirt, at my daughter's request. It turned out cute and she felt like a Princess in it. Plus it was good practice for the next project: THE PROM DRESS.

I will soon begin making the dress shown in the picture, for my daughter's Prom. She picked out the wonderful McCall's dress pattern. It is gorgeous. The bodice will be white. The skirt will be black. Wish me luck. That's a lot of netting. I've made crinolines before, but this is a new challenge. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
