Rex, Baby and Me (Baby is my Mom's dog)

Hello and welcome to patti-cat's adventures in the house and garden. After being in one place for awhile, things tend to pile up. Well, with the attic and basement, garage and barn to fill-up, is it any wonder?
My eBay moniker "patti-cat" is for three reasons, first because I am born under the sun sign of Leo, second because I love cats (we have two) and three because I have curious adventures around the house decorating and re-decorating and in the garden planting and re-planting.
It's a wonderful thing to have an understanding husband who shares in my passions and often just shakes his head (especially when I am moving that plant in the garden for the third time). Robby is a native of Scotland and fell in love with the upstate New York area when he discovered it seeking good spots to fly fish.
We decided to make a lifestyle change and relocate from the urban New York City area to the country life in Ulster County.
We live simply in the country in upstate New York in our cool 60's ranch house with our kittens Spoiled Rotten Ginger and Miss Attitude Emma and our Big Little dog named Rex. Since I practice real estate, I am afforded a flexible schedule which allows me time (during off season) to rummage through the house for goods to sell on eBay.
I think if it's been packed away since we moved here and I have not once thought about the item, it's time for it to go. Not to mention a lot of my things are very nice and it's a shame not to use good things. Isn't it?
