Hi
I have not been on eBay long but have learned some things that I thought I should share with you.
Last week, I asked some advice from some people and instead of keeping focus on my question they gave me alot of free advice that I didn't ask for.
I should have never listened to them.
What they told me is that I shouldn't stick up for my beliefs which are that I should be an honest seller.
What they told me is that I shouldn't let people know that there are dishonest people here on eBay.
They told me I sounded self righteous and was casting a negative image.
Well, I changed this whole page and there wasn't a single thing that said anything about me, I mean the real me.
I am an honest person! I am so honest that this page used to tell you about the thirteen negatives that I received and how proud I was to have them. I wore them like a red badge of courage.
Why? Because the people that I bought from were dishonest and I found them out and I reported them, because I do not want them or any other dishonest person in my place of business! Hey, I bought from them, that was my fault, but when they were doing dishonest things and I found out that was another story all together.
So, for you, my customers, I am an honest seller, an honest buyer, and a good person. And, I know that even if you don't buy from me because of my thirteen negatives, you won't buy from those dishonest people either. Or at least you will be more aware of sellers here on eBay.
Here is my policy as a seller:
Here is an example of the things I sell on eBay! I will miss this one the most!
I have six rules that make me successful and brings customers back to me:
1~Be honest. If it has a chip in it I'll tell you. If I know nothing about it I'll tell you.
2~If its cracked throw it away. I don't sell broken stuff unless it can be used for parts or repaired back to its original state.
3~Dig and climb. I will get on my hands and knees and dig through boxes to find unusual and cheap stuff that way I can sell it to you cheap. I will climb the highest barns and attics to find those things.
4~Be sincere. Making the customer happy is important, so if I make a mistake, I will be the first to apologize.
5~This is an everchanging business and I must constantly find new and unusual things to sell and keep a steady supply of regulars too.
6~I am doing this to help support my family, not to get rich. Although getting rich would be nice, and I have probably sold some things in my lifetime that were very valuable, I am not trying to get rich off of anybody.
So, I just want to say thank you very much for everything and please give me lots of money so I can get rich and support my family. Just kidding!!
