The PillaRoom has decorated and made rooms happy since 2002. We began as a small venture and have continued to grow, both on and off eBay. Since our store opening, we have placed over 12,000 pillows in homes and businesses across the US. We are committed to giving you excellent service and beautiful, well made pillows!
All fabrics are presented to the very best of our ability. When pillows are posted to eBay, they are photographed in natural lighting and appear on our computer exactly as they are seen before our eyes. Computer monitors may display colors differently. Our item descriptions will always include the content and color which is given by our fabric manufacturers. If you are unsure about a color or fabric and are attempting to match a specific piece in your home, please email us with any questions. We cannot guarantee exact color matches or be responsible for monitor settings. Some of the fabrics that we use may vary from bolt to bolt. This is very common with Waverly prints in particular. If you are interested in purchasing a set of pillows, it is always best to buy them all at once to guarantee a matching set.
The recommended care for home fabrics is dry cleaning. Your pillows can be cleaned at home in the dryer with a Dryel or similar kit. Outdoor pillows are machine washable. We recommend using a gentle cycle and a low to medium heat in the dryer. You can even hang them to dry. Outdoor fabrics and fill are both mildew resistant.
Our pillows are all filled with Poly-fil(tm) premium polyester fiberfill stuffing. It is the top of the line fiberfill used for home decor projects and our personal favorite due to it's resilient, hypoallergenic and fluffy qualities. Poly-fil(tm) may settle inward or even compress during shipment. Initially this can be alarming, but is a normal result of air pressure and jostling during travel. Pillows can be easily plumped back to their original shape with a good fluffing.

Our pillows are measured tip to tip prior to stuffing, which is industry standard. The dimensions of pillows may decrease slightly when filled, but the tips of the pillow will reach the measurement as stated in our listings. If you plump your pillows to a very full and fluffy shape, count on the width or height of the pillow decreasing a couple of inches. The standard size for our square pillows is almost always 17" unless otherwise stated. See above for an example of a 17" pillow's measurements.
We aim to keep our prices on eBay as reasonable as possible and also stay in business. We are not a discount or wholesale shop. Our prices reflect the quality and workmanship put into each handcrafted pillow.
Each week we will have several listings up at auction. The opening price for our auctions will not always be the same as the pillows we have listed in our store. Please bear in mind that this is the opening bid and is certainly not a reflection of what these pillows will commonly sell for. We consider our auctions to be advertisement for our store, with the added bonus of possibly a great deal for you!
Unless a pillow has a "Best Offer" button advertised at the top of the listing, we are unable to offer discounts. We do, however, gladly combine shipping for multiple purchases. Our combined shipping discount rate will be posted in each listing. Your combined shipping rate should adjust automatically when you have finished shopping and checkout. If for any reason your total does not combine properly, please do not pay. Request your total or send us an email and it will be manually corrected.
In most cases, purchases will ship within one business day of receiving payment. We use a standard ground shipping service in the form of FedEx or USPS depending on the size of your package. You will receive an automated email containing your tracking information. You may need to add fedex.com or usps.com to your allowed senders if you do not want our emails to be filtered.
Our shipping rates include a standard fee for packaging and careful handling. Pillows can be a challenge to ship due to their bulky, but somewhat light weight nature. Your total will be shown to you prior to your commitment to purchase. Please be aware of the costs of shipping before you buy. We do offer a combined shipping rate which will be posted in each listing. If you are unsure about shipping costs, please email any questions.
Keep in mind that we do our part to expedite the shipping of your package. Once packages are handed to our carrier, it is up to them to deliver within their committed time frame. Packages are just about always delivered on time, but on occasion weather, holidays or carrier error can delay shipment. If you are at all concerned about your delivery, please contact us and we will do everything we can to help.
Contact must be made prior to any return. Pillows in new condition are returnable for exchange within 7 days only if there is a defect or an error has been made in processing your order. Refunds will be given if a replacement pillow is not available. For refunds, we will notify receipt of return through eBay's Mutual Agreement message and will process upon response. Refunds will be made in the same method paid. We do not refund shipping and handling charges unless there has been an error on our part. Refund of shipping will be determined by the circumstance.
Refunds greater than $50 will be charged a 10% restocking fee.
We consider our transactions to be a complete success when we have received positive feedback, and will gladly leave the like for you. Due to the volume of our sales, feedback is left in large batches and reviewed by a human to keep it personal. Your feedback may not show up the moment you leave feedback for us. Please be assured that we are reliable at leaving feedback, but do get sidetracked occasionally.
If for any reason we have not met your expectations and you have concerns, please email us before leaving negative comments. We are people with faces (it's true!) and can be helpful in working out a solution to any problem that may arise.
