Pink Lady Constrictors is owned and operated by Jennifer Harrison, and I'm located near beautiful Madison, WI. I'm a former U.S. Army soldier and the proud mother of a beautiful, intelligent, funny, amazingly loving daughter named Zoë Jeanette, who was born April 17th, 2006. She is absolutely my world.
In the Army, I was a 46Q -- Public Affairs Specialist/Journalist. Our job is to be the voice of the Army -- write features and articles for Army publications, cover special events and embed with specific action units to cover their objectives/missions/accomplishments, escort and assist civilian media, create a positive relationship between the military and the surrounding communities, facilitate Army assistance with community events, handle all public affairs/press conferences, take photos for publication and records, and much more. It is one of the best jobs in the Army. During my service, I fractured my hip and the 2nd to last vertebra in my spine -- and was given an honorable discharge. I proudly support my fellow disabled veterans, healthy veterans, and active servicemembers serving both on American soil and abroad.
I work full-time as a Resident Assistant at Oakwood Village, a retirement community for seniors that provides independent living apartments, assisted living of various stages, and skilled nursing all on one large campus. I work in Covenant Oaks, which is our assisted living memory care facility for seniors with Alzheimers, dementia, and other memory/mental disorders. I've done this for a few years now (before the Army and after) and I absolutely love my job. I look forward to going to work every day and being with my residents, and I would be happy to do this for the rest of my life.
Pink Lady Constrictors refers to my hobby business of breeding and selling quality snakes -- predominantly ball pythons, but I do work with various other species. I have another business, Pink Lady Gems, which refers to my other hobby of buying, making, and selling quality jewelry and gemstones. I chose the name because I have always loved the color pink, and generally everything I own and wear is pink in one way or another. Even our wedding theme was pink and black, and I chose to wear a pink wedding dress! My "pink personality" tends to be very obvious to everyone I meet, so everywhere I have gone in life, people always wind up calling me the Pink Lady. It ended up sticking, and I feel it describes me perfectly, so there you have it!
I have been on Ebay for 5 years selling various items as well as buying. I recently joined with my mother in selling high-end cookware under my long-time Ebay business account: bestcookwareforless! We are still running full-speed, and I recently decided to register a second Ebay account (under my jewelry business name) to use for jewelry auctions, personal sales and personal purchases. I decided that the two should be separate so that buyers and sellers we deal with do not get confused (and so that I don't get confused!), even though that meant starting over from scratch with this new name. So even though this username is considered new to Ebay, the person behind it definitely is not, so you can bid with confidence!
