Well being some what broke has started the trend of selling items on Ebay.  I always purchased, but never sold.  Not being able to shut my closet doors has forced me to start selling some of my items.  Little did I know that selling on Ebay is almost a full time job!  (and I don't even have that many items)  You never know what you're going to find here.  I have shoes that my Mother-in-law buys for me, that are so cute, but I don't dress up enough to wear.  I have make up, dresses, books, toys, kids clothes.....so on.  Some of my items still have tags on them!!!  Some never used, and some used a lot but in good condition.

 I do my best to describe the item that is up for auctions.  All of my items come from a smoke free home.  I have a little dog, so my home is not pet free. 

I started out on Ebay with the lowest shipping price available.  Shortly after selling my first item, I realized I did not make a profit because shipping cost so dang much, plus all the little hidden fees from ebay and paypal!  So with that in mind I decided to estimate the weight and size of the item and package it would be shipped in.  I think I am pretty acurate.  This is why all my auctions have calculated shipping.  Anyhow...I do my best to make sure shipping charges are not high.  I charge a small handling fee.  If however the shipping cost is a tad bit cheaper than what you initially paid for, I am sorry.  With gas prices and the running to and from the post office or UPS store and purchasing of packaging and such, and lets not forget hidden fees that ebay and paypal charge...it comes out even.  Sellers, you understand what I am talking about, right?. 

The way I look at it, it beats driving around town to the mall, or flea market to find what ever it is you are looking for.  I shop Ebay all the time, and I am usually happy with my purchases regardless of the fees, just because shipping costs are usually cheaper than me getting in my gas guzzling SUV and driving around waisting exspensive gas and precious time that should be devoted to my children.

One more thingy....about pictures of the items.  As we all know sometimes the color in the photos is different that what  the item really is in real life.  I try to make sure that the items are laid out in a manor that is easy for a bidder to view.  I also try to make sure the lighting in the room does not alter the color of the item as much.  I am not a photographer so I am not sure how to change that.

One other problem I have come across as an ebay user.  I enjoy leaving positive feedback to one's that cooperate with me.  I would also appreciate positive feedback from my buyer or my seller.  It is really nice to receive the feedback.   I would appreciate any positive feedback to build up my reputation.  I hope that you would understand that as a buyer or seller.. 

 I am happy to answer any questions that a buyer may have about any of my items.  I would rather you ask questions before hand than have an unhappy buyer.
