Selling

I am a life long collector. I have collected stamps for over 40 years. I have collected Hot Wheels and Sports Cards in the past. I frequently list those items as I have a lot of stuff to get rid of. If you are looking for a certain car or card I likely have it, but as they are not current interests it may be difficult to find. I have MIB Hot Wheels and Matchbox from 1994 to 2000. I have loose going back to the start of each. In cards I am primarily from the 60's until about 1997 in football baseball and hockey. As a true collecting junkie I have picked up many things or started collecting things only to later lose interest. I once found a 45 rpm record that a guy had been looking for for years. I had it. This is all to explain why my listings tend to cover many areas of interest. I am trying to get rid of the items that I no longer collect. I still have 1000's of die cast cars and over a million sports cards.

 I start most of these listings at a penny. I have done penny listings since 1998. This is done by many now . When I started penny listings it angered several dealers who complained to ebay. A couple went so far as to bid on my stuff in order to leave me negative feedback. The negs stuck, but the dealers had their accounts closed. I take feedback very seriously and I will leave you feedback. All of my negatives that I have received  are as described above or retalitory. I will do what I can to end every transaction with positive feedback.

Buying

At this point in my life I am trying to sell more than buy. I do still actively buy stamp collections. If you have something to sell, I am interested. My stamp collecting has primarily been U.S. used. I started as a kid and I started like many people did trying to get one copy of every stamp. At some point I realized that I have gone as far as I can with that. What I don't have in U.S. stamps I can't afford, as every stamp that I don't have catalogs close to $1000 each or more. My interests then ran to precancels and perfins and fancy cancels. I have large accumulations of each, but they are poorly organized. I now am into postal history and cancellations. I now look at the postmark and the cancellation with more interest than the stamp. It is a interesting collecting area and still fairly affordable. I have been concentrating on this for a couple years and have found 9,000 DPO's and research tells me that their is less than 15,000. Four "BIG" buys really helped that along. In the last year I started collecting meter stamps.(Something I threw away for years) In meter stamps I am looking for the Pitney Bowes Flying Eagles and items prior to 1960. The current stuff does not interest me, however I do save the stamps.com stuff. I have a large accumulation of foreign as it often is part of a collection that I bought. It has been poorly organized and nearly impossible for me to find single items that you may be looking for, but it is getting better. I am after all of these years getting around to organizing my WW stamps. I have split the mass into the different countries. I have started to catalog and put the stamps into albums. I have started with Great Britian, Germany and France. I am trying to get to put this together with SOTN cancels. In the absense of good socked on the nose cancels I am looking for interesting cancels. I found a site that lets you print your own album pages per country. One interesting collection I am working on is Great Britian Postal cities. There are less than 3000 and I am approaching 2000 different cancels in a short time. It took years to get to 50,000 different U.S. cancels and there is still a long way to go with that. I have no idea how many different US cancels I have now. I have not counted in several years. I do know that I am missing many Alaska and Hawaii cities. I am 99%+ complete in Minnesota, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, North Dakota, New York, Kansas, California, New Mexico and Arizona. It jumps around a bit, but thats due to buying others collections.
