About Me: PomegranateAndPuce
As an artist I strive to work organically, allowing one decision to flow into the next until the piece quietly whispers that it is finished. The work is the most provocative when I allow this evolution to occur with as little input from my conscious brain as possible. My primary media is acrylic paint, with collage, fibers, and found objects appearing at times. These swatches of color, texture, and pattern are arranged together to evoke a mood or theme and a pleasing composition. This theme may or may not remain unnamed, but the viewer always completes the work. What he or she thinks, feels, and remembers in relation to my work ultimately determines the existential value of the piece.
My altered paper dolls are all archival materials, guaranteed to last beautifully for years to come. I hope you find one that speaks to you, and allow her to become a part of your home!
