Make-Over on Client's "Stock" Oak Island

Hello, my name is Norma and I have always been a Primitive Soul !  I was born and raised in the Southeast - and now reside in Charlotte, NC.  I live with my wonderful husband, Craig, and we have 3 beautiful children, and miscellaneous cats and dogs. I was blessed with parents who lived a simple life and had a love & respect for all things old...and I guess they passed that love on to me.  My mom used to say that I was "born with a box of crayons" in my hand....I've always loved to paint and re-make things into something "new" and useful.  I have a small Faux Finishing business which allows me to create for others what I feel in my heart.

I have been selling on E-bay for about 2 years and I'm having a great time doing it.  I am a member of the E-bay group, Age Before Beauty (AB4B) and have met many wonderful friends and I must say it is so great knowing folks that share in the same passion for primitives & a "country lifestyle".  My heartfelt thanks to those who have encouraged me to continue my E-bay journey!  My listings consist of old, vintage, or antique items that I find along my hunts or they may be items that I draw out and my husband patiently builds for me to finish. Through friends & family, we find old, reclaimed lumber, as well as, old hardware in making our recreations.  We love to try and recapture the look of old simple pieces from the  mid 1800's to early 1900's....pieces that look old, but are useful, sturdy & made to last for the next generation of primitive lovers!
