Shoe Lover To Shoe Seller
A little book I wrote and produced!

As most women I've met, I have always loved shoes. And I love Ebaying, both buying and selling. It only recently occurred to me that maybe I should combine the two. I get great deals on shoes, and I can pass on the savings to buyers. So I get to buy great shoes and sell them. It's a win-win for me. My greatest success on Ebay has come from selling shoes, particularly petite and special sizes, because these are the hardest to find in retail outlets. I am always on the lookout for great deals on petite sized shoes. Even for me, they are hard to find, so I understand the plight of small-footed women everywhere.

As a professional writer, I find that Ebay keeps my descriptive writing skills honed. I enjoy writing descriptions for the shoes and other items in my store and listings. It's fun and unlike my actual writing jobs, it doesn't take a lot of brain power. It is in a word relaxing. Ebay adds something intangible to my life, but something important. It adds an immediate sense of accomplishment that is hard to find elsewhere. When I sell an item and know that the buyer is getting a great deal, and when I know I've provided the best customer service I can, I feel that sense of achievement. It feels good. But selling isn't the only thing that makes a person feel good. Winning an auction can feel great, too, especially if you've been in a bidding war against another bidder or two and win at the last minute. Oh, what a rush!
