* `ello there! In addition to crafting arts I am an avid collector of collections; I collect rocks, mini stoneware vases, bonzai pots, antique kitchen gadjets, and more recently mini antique dice. Why the dice? Well, I inherited a small collection of pre and post Civil War era dice. I was researching them on eBay and got hooked by the "IT" bug; I found a couple of auctions and won. :) Now my collection houses a wide range of materials for handmade dice such as ivory, bone (some possibly human!), horn, wood, glass, quartz crystal, black obsidian, Depression Era milk glass, and even a chalk or gypsum pair! The ivory and bone are my favorites because of the warm tones in color and textures, but the ones made of natural stone are the tops. They are also my smallest dice at only about two centimeters square! Mini dice are easy to collect, being much lighter and more compact than my rock, gem, and fossil collection, and they hold the touch of history's hand. If you have some tiny dice to sell drop me an eBay line. I don't like to pay very much for them cause I think that takes the fun out a bit, but a fair price is always a value. I don't have any metal dice yet or known early plastics such as Bakalite. I prefer natural materials. So other than selling, that's what I'm up to on eBay right now. Have fun out there; I do! -- Tree
