Purple Greetings to You!
|
Hello to All! My name is Jody, and I got started on eBay for Scouting stuff. You see, I'm a Scouting MAMA. I have 3 boys that are REALLY into Scouting!
Christopher is now 20. He graduated from high school in 2005. He received his Eagle Scout in 2004, with a very impressive Native American ceremony. He went into the Army Reserves and got his Basic EMT license (nationally recognized), and most of his Intermediate EMT is done, too.
UPDATE: Christopher is now stationed at Schofield Barracks, HI. He enlisted Regular Army in April. He's assigned to a STRYKER brigade and is scheduled for deployment to Iraq in December 2007.
UPDATE: Christopher just left from his leave and is now in Iraq, somewhere, doing Combat Medic duty attached to an Infantry Battalion/STRYKER brigade as a STRYKER driver.
Stephen is now 17, and a Senior in high school. He's an Ensign in the NJROTC program at our school, and is planning on attending MMA next year. He is very close to his Eagle Scout being completed. He's our "computer whiz" - even has created his own Web page!
UPDATE: Stephen is now 18 and has graduated. He's working for Stop n' Shop, a local/semi-national grocery chain (parent company is Ahold). Stop n' Shop has a Co-Op program that will fit with Stephen's major at Maine Maritime - International Business and Logistics. He has completed his Eagle Scout; and upon notice of Christopher's leave we will have his ceremony.
UPDATE: Stephen now attends MMA; and is pulling AWESOME grades as a Freshman. He has had his Eagle Scout ceremony and is a full-fledged Eagle Scout.
Nicholas is now 14, and a Freshman in high school. He is a Star Scout, with two ranks until Eagle. He's a Patrol Leader in his troop, and has a Yu-Gi-Oh collection of over 2000 cards (the most recent off of eBay!)
UPDATE: Nicholas will be 15 in August. He will be a Sophomore this fall. He's attending many camps this summer and working on Merit Badges towards his Eagle Scout.
UPDATE: Nicholas is a Sophomore, and continuing the tradition of participating in our local NJROTC program; the third of three and now has it all coming full circle.
