INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFO
* INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME ON OUR AUCTIONS *
We've been shipping fragile Antiques & Collectibles World Wide for several years now. Every item is packed as though we are packing it & shipping it to ourselves.
Please read the following to help you understand how & why we ship the way we do.
USA Buyers: Please Note: Buyers based in the U.S.A. - Canadian Banks will no longer accept the GREEN Domestic USPS Postal Money Orders, if you are sending a USPS Money Order, it must be a PINK International USPS MO.
CANADIAN Buyers: Please Note: GST is included in the final bid price - although we are a Registered Business in Canada, we DO NOT add GST on to the final bid price. We appreciate bids from our fellow Canadians!
1. All shipping quotes for our items [that are over 2 pounds] are calculated for Expedited USA which includes Insurance & Delivery Confirmation. Any items under 2 pounds are shipped via Small Packet Air. [unless the parcel exceeds the max. dimensions for Small Packet Post] If you want, or need items "over 2 pounds" delivered at a faster rate, then please let us know so we can calculate the cost for Xpresspost. We will not be held responsible for items that are considered lost when shipped with Delivery Confirmation and/or online tracking when these items have been scanned by the Post Office as being delivered to the shipping address that is given to us by the high bidder. If the high bidder emails us an incorrect and/or incomplete shipping address we will also not be held responsible for items that are not delivered. No hassles with the PO or waiting for approval on insurance claims. We reimburse immediately when & if all of the stipulations on this page have been met.
2. Although we are familiar with most foreign Countries Customs & Duty Tariffs, it's a good idea to find out what, if any, charges you may be expecting from your local Customs Office when your shipment arrives. We will not be held responsible for lost or damaged items due to your local Customs office or Postal service, nor will we be responsible for any additional Taxes, Duty, or Tariffs charged in your Country. We will also not be held responsible for any items your Country refuses entry of. If you are unsure, please check with your local Customs Office, before you place a bid.
3. If you live in Canada please keep in mind that ALL auctions are in U.S. funds. If you want to send payment in Canadian currency please contact us for the rate of exchange on that day.
4. If you feel the parcel is taking longer than what you expected to arrive, please check your feedback for the date it was shipped. We always post feedback & ship the same day the funds arrive.
5. Many people believe that Canada Post is very slow, the truth is both sides of the border are sometimes very slow in handling the mail. I know numerous Antique dealers in the U.S. and they too have problems with slow shipping via U.S.P.S., sometimes even when shipping only one State over.
6. We've never had a parcel go missing, & over the years have only had two items arrive damaged. We reimbursed both customers for both the auction price & the shipping cost with no questions asked. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control.
