My mom retired in February 2008.  She's the one in the grass skirt.  It was a Hawaiian-themed party.  A lot of people I never met before had nice things to say about Mom and they took this picture of us.  Standing, l to r: Dave, his wife Deb, my husband Ken looking away, me with my eyes half-closed, Mom, Uncle Charlie, my brother Dan's(not present) wife Tiffany, and Uncle Bernie.  My sister Teresa is sitting in front of us.  We had a lot of fun and good food, but it was a bit like walking into another world.  My mom worked since I was quite young, even for a time when I was a newborn, and I had been waiting since I was a child to have my mom home when I came home from school.  Finally, she is!  I'm no longer in school, though.
