Soft pastel is my medium of choice because of the vividness of color and the direct contact that I have with the medium. I apply the particles to the paper and paint with my fingers, which is why I enjoy pastels.

My process: Unless I'm painting a portrait or an object in front of me, I usually start raw and fully create an idea before it translates to paper or canvas. These images are  often inspired by dreams, a song or one word.

 My favorite subjects are the images that come to me through inspiration with a touch of the surreal. Or sometimes overtly surreal!
