The birth of "TheConsignmentBarn"

eBay has always fascinated me. Such a wide variety of products to choose from. I started out by purchasing a few things and then got away from it all due to work and family obligations. Eventuallly, injuries received while in the military forced me into retirement and a small disability pension. Living on a fixed income isn't the easiest thing to do so I decided to sell off some items that I had collcted over the years. I sold a few things and word eventually got around that I was dabbling with eBay. People started calling and asking me to sell items for them. Again, I sold a few items but certainly nothing to get excited about. In the mean time, people continued bringing their stuff to the house and wanting me to sell for them. It was for this reason that I decided to open up a web store. No, it's not an eBay store. My decision to build my store where I did was purely economic. eBay has a fine venue but I had to hold costs down as much as possible. Thus, TheConsignmentBarn was born. I will soon be listing items on eBay again. There are items that are better suited for this type of venue.
