Welcome to R 'n' B's ODDS 'n' Ends!!! We are a HILO based "store", located on the BEAUTIFUL and diversified BIG ISLAND of HAWAII !!! You will find all kinds of items in this unique "shop"- some from Hawaii... because, how can we live in such an awesome place & not share some of it's unique-ness?!! There are some things new here, some things used...if you browse carefully through the description of each item, they will be described as close to da kine as possible!!! You may even pick up some of Hawaii's pidgin along the way...! Just kick back and relax... and check out our stuff! Be patient though, I'm still trying to figure out this system... But once I do... there will be much more to bid on!!! { Like collectibles, sports stuff... (like cards)...etc..., old tools, clothing, decorative items, beads, etc... you'll just have to check us out from time to time!!!}
I started out on eBay shopping!!! I love candles, candleholders, cherished teddies, baskets, lamps,etc. BUT what I picked up most from this whole experience, is what type of seller I would like to be, and also what type to avoid imitating! Some never left feedback when I was 1st starting out... so I plan to leave it as soon as an item clears through Paypal !!! I wanted to add a point about FEEDBACK. I have noticed that some just DON'T leave feedback... for whatever reason... I have decided not to overly concern myself with this. I still will promptly leave feedback, because I believe we should do to others as we would want others to do to ourselves!!! BUT not everyone feels this way, I guess; and that's okay! Some sellers I dealt with, were extra courteous, quick to communicate, etc... and best of all, there were those who had such a great sense of humor... which I feel is very important !!! I still intend to shop, of course; and I will still go back to those who perhaps sell items that I can use personally (Such as this great soap my daughter introduced me to!), or can make something with, and sell myself... don't feel bad if I do this, it means I like your stuff enough to share it with still others! (Otherwise I wouldn't have bought it in the 1st place!)*Another point I'd like to add: I will never buy an item, just to re-sell it... UNLESS I intend to create something with it....such as a GIFT BASKET, or something to that effect. I like to think of ideas in this way...! If I have "leftovers"... I may sell some things though. My hubby USED to collect sports cards before we married... but now he is actually going to let me auction them off!!! I guess he loves ME more!!!(He's had a few cows already!!!) So you'll see some of his stuff alot too! ( I'm sure you'll be able to tell which items WERE his!!!) ANYWAY... I hope you will check us out often... because I will include some info about our home here on the BIG ISLE whenever I can... and maybe add pictures too!!!*This is something I will soon be doing...adding tidbits I hope others will find interesting...such as the fact that it actually snows up on Mauna Kea... A BEAUTIFUL sight to see! This year never had much, so I wasn't able to get Pictures).* I just am letting you know a little of what to expect!!! So Mahalo to all of you that took the time to check us out, and we hope you will come back soon!!! One last note... we haven't actually opened up a store yet... but plan to do so soon!!! We also have more info on our My World page... much is the same...BUT not all....IF you want to read some more!!!(4- 4- 07: So far most of my experience with eBay has been all LEARNING!!! I'm learning about fees....... I also have ones that question certain things, such as shipping,etc. I realize each of us are in eBay for different reasons. Some just want to get rid of stuff, a way of having something to do. Some come for bargains also. I am here for several reasons, similar to most... but I also want to help with expenses in caring for a mentally challenged family member. I am mostly at home, and am unable to work secularly... so to help my Hubby out, I thought I would try this avenue. SO FAR, I have lost more than I have made. BUT that's okay...that's how we learn! When person's question certain things, they need to understand that things cost more here in Hawaii... BUT I still try to be as fair as possible. I want to pass on a bargain, but make a little something also. I'm just being honest! I have enjoyed myself so far, especially with certain one's that say the nicest things! It shows there are others that feel the same way!!! Anyway... I just wanted to add that as an explanation that I hope makes sense!!!)
