Fine Arts & Crafts
Rockforge Arts is a certified Appalachian American Artists Guild (AAAG) Dealer. Most of the work we offer is primitive and fine arts from the Appalachian Region of the United States. Though many of our contributing artists are of Native American descent none are currently registered tribal members or recognized as such by the Federal Government. Unless an item specifically states it was made by an enrolled tribal member it is only done in the style or influence of Native American art forms. If it is authentic and we know the artist this will be disclosed in the listing.
Appalachian art is unique because it still holds much of the influence of early America. You can see colonial, Native American, and immigrant influences in the styles. Much of what we create to sell is reproductions or commissioned work. Many of the skills involved have been taught to our artists by Native Americans, Re-enactors of living history, and through family tradition. Visit our main site at www.rockforgearts.com

Here at our eBay location we deal with graphic design specials, unique gifts, fine art, and primative crafts as well as unusual antiques. Many of our products are stylings from the ancient & mysterious past. Our fine art pieces are from Artists like J.B.Riffle, L. Karus, and others in Appalachian Region of the United States. Many of the products you will find here are made by members of the AAAG.
Recently we are proud to announce an exclusive deal with Crippled Deer Studios to offer you some very unique items crafted from wood & bone. These items cater to the primative decorator and hunter. Each piece is a one of a kind so don't miss out when we are able to list one on ebay.
Most of the craft and artwork we offer is commissioned and when someone doesn't make final payment or it is not picked up after 12 months we offer it on eBay to you. Some of these items also come from estate sale shopping and auction houses. We do our best to be accurate in all our listings however we are not experts by any means. Please research items you purchase on eBay and if you are looking to authenticate an item please seek out a qualified professional.
Most of our items ship the same week as the payment clears. We have had very little problems with shipping and our feedback shows this. Any negative comments that have been made are from customers who would not have been satisfied regardless of how much we tried to remedy the situation. In some cases please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping. If you were purchasing from other mail order businesses the standard is 6-8 but we generally ship as soon as payment clears from PayPal to our account. WE ONLY ACCEPT U.S. POSTAL MONEY ORDERS. As of October 01, 2005 we will no longer accept WESTERN UNION. Far too many agencies and banks are refusing to pay these money orders even if they are good. When a Western Union agency won't even look at one of their own money orders and refuses to cash it; it is time to drop their service. We apologize for the inconvience but it is easier for us to get your items to you when payment is made by other means. If you ignore this policy your money order is subject to a 15 day waiting period to clear.
We accept returns on a case by case basis and generally only provide full refunds when the fault has been ours in the description of the item or faulty packaging. Because antique items are usually out of our realm of knowledge and show general wear or repair these items are always sold "AS IS". please be very specific in questioning if it is not clear and never assume anything about an item. Because we deal with a great many internet sales we have began to use a shipper. Our shipper takes special care in packaging each item but we suggest purchasing insurance for every purchase.
We cannot be held responsible for damaged delivery if insurance was not purchased so please use it. We also will never give refunds to any user who is no longer registered with eBay. this is for our protection. Refunds will only be made through PayPal and not through the mail or by money order.

Because there is no way to protect the integrity of electronic images or text after they are sent all sales are final. We will not issue refunds for electronic items however we will do our best to make revisions to suit your needs to images. It is vital that you communicate accurately and quickly for us to be able to complete your project in a timely fashion. While most designs are completed within 24 hours of receiving your payment please note in rare circumstances or due to communication times it may take longer.
To avoid many delays please be mindful of your spam folder in case something should accidentally be placed there. Also be as clear as possible in your expectations of logos and artwork, colors-fonts-images , etc… And if you already have an image or images to be modified please send them promptly.

To qualify for our lay-away program you must meet the following criteria:
1. A feedback rating of 50 or more with 97% or better positive feedback.
2. NO negative feedback within the past 6 months.
3. Pay with PayPal
4. Pay full shipping costs with Insurance with first Payment
5. Full payment must be made within 60 Days
6. Agree to the full terms of the layaway by email.
7. Prior approval must be given for any payment program.
On items from $99.00 - $250
2 equal installments
On items $251-$498
3 equal installments
On items over $499.00
4 equal installments.

Feedback Policy
We have been doing online sales since 1999 and I can only recall three times we have had a problem. Because new users often fail to take into account check clearance, paypal transfer, holidays, etc... We only leave feedback after you are satisfied with your purchase.
If there is a problem let us know and we will seek to remedy it. Please review our policy regarding insuring your items before you leave feedback or checkout. We work hard to provide quality items and if there is a question about an item please review the images and description, ask questions if it is not clear and please do not assume anything.
We leave GLOWING feedback when deserved and have only left negative feedback when it has been left for us before a solution to remedy the situation has been sought, so please contact us with any questions or concerns.
