Hi, my name is Danny, I live in Belgium. I'm collecting LP's for over 35 years and have many thousands of ROCK lp's, mainly progressive, krautrock, blues, etc... I'm still collecting and allways looking for Hendrix Records, Krautrock and Progressive, some Bluesrock and certain avant garde like Zappa and the Mothers. From time to time, I'm selling some LP's to clear space as space is what LP's take! I will only sale items that are at least EX/EX, unless the rarity of the item justifies a lower grading. Records that are not at least VG/VG are (in my eyes) worthless. When I'm selling I will not overgrade and for those interested buyers asking, I will do a playgrade on a top deck player. Unfortunately when buying, I experienced many times that sellers are overgrading, it is sad but it's a reality, so I'm really hesistating to buy on Ebay, so I will not buy from low feedback sellers at all. Excellent condition or better condition Records are now difficult to take ownership off, the prices keep on rising as simply demand is higher then the offer.
Buyers may allways check my feedback score. So far I got 2 Negative Feedbacks: One Negative was from a French Buyer as a revenge for a negative I gave him since he was not paying following 5 reminders and 6 weeks waiting. The other negative was from a dutch buyer who was wrong informed on 60ties Belgian sleeve releases.... If anyone has a problem over an item, he should contact me, rather then leaving a blunt negative, problems can be sorted in a friendly way. In any case my positive feedback speaks for itself. If anyone has doubts on the descriptions of my items or my integrety he should not make any bids on items I'm offering. If anyone expect MINT records he should shop somewhere else as the records I offer are 20 to 40 years old, so they cannot possibly be MINT. I will never use a grade higher then MINT- (MT-) which is MINT Minus. I use the gradings of the UK Record Collector for records.
Finally, if anyone can offer me Kraut or progressive records, I'm prepared to exchange. I possess many thousands of LP's (mainly Rock) and there is lots to choose from on exchange basis. I'm not selling much on Ebay as I have really no time to make parcells and go to the Post Office. Nevertheless it is fun to come in contact with people with same interests.
Hereby a picture of one of my records racks as well as a picture of my Mid 70ties Stereo Stack. I like the high quality made Vintage Gear as opposed to the plastic boxes with circuitry banged in they are selling today. I'm Electronics engineer, so I know what is quality and what is electronic crap and "marketing hype" (this does not mean that true Quality is not made today... I use a pair of JBL 4425 Studio Monitors and a pair of JBL L112 Studio Monitors for the Non-Coloured powerful Sound. They used these Monitors also at the mixing desks of the record studios in the 70ties and 80ties... My Deck is Technics SL110 with SME Arm and Shure stylus. This deck was designed as one of the first direct drives and mainly used professionally in Broadcast Studios etc in the early 70ties. My Pre and Amp is ROTEL from the mid 70ties. Highly quality made gear with very good power supplies. Might not compete with the true High End of today, but the RC2000 Pre-Amp is especially designed for pre-amplifying record decks and the RB2000 AMP is a true Class A Amp. In fact my RC2000 Pre-AMP is driving TWO of these illuster RB2000 Power-Amps which gives me 2 x 2 x 125 RMS Watts. A great Power Plant ! I hate CD's hence I'm using a REVOX B77 Analog Tape-Deck for my recordings.
Finally, I can communicate in English, German, French and Dutch
