As of 09/03/2008, my client has decided to
withdraw their eBay inventory and discontinue their eBay
sales activity for now.
This leaves me with nothing to sell. Which is what I
think they call 'having all your eggs in one basket'.
All purchases WILL BE SHIPPED.
I have enjoyed meeting and chatting with
everyone over the past years. And while I'm not going
away, it may take me a bit to find the door(s) that were
opened when this particular door closed.

My name is Robert Sachs, and I own RKS Solutions
LLC. I've been doing online consignment
sales since 1991 and have focused on eBay sales
since 1997. As a Trading Assistant and
PowerSeller, I've specialized in
selling - I'm currently selling
overstock/discontinued shoes for a national
distributor with a warehouse here in
Memphis. I've been doing so since 2003 and
have been doing quite well. I also sell
collectibles and clearance items from my two
other sales IDs: RKS-Collectibles and
RKS-Clearance-Sales. My primary clients
are local businesses with inventory they want to
move, but I also do limited personal selling as
well. |

In
December of 2002, my employer of many years was
forced to close up shop, leaving me unemployed.
I loved working for that company... however,
having been selling on eBay for a number of
years already by that time, it was natural for
me to look to eBay as my next career. It took
nearly 9 months to land that first "big
account". Since then, my sales have
grown and my volume has increased. I
continued to do contract programming (part time)
and eBay sales (part time) until December of
2005, at which time I moved to full-time eBay
sales. |

now I'm expanding on the base I've created over
the past few years, by reaching out to new
clients, continuing to expand sales for my
existing clients, and focusing on providing more
exciting products for eBay buyers everywhere. |

For those interested, RKS
Solutions has since outgrown our livingroom and
is now renting both office and warehouse space!
I want to thank all the wonderful people who've
made this growth possible - the buyers on eBay!

On Thursday, May 17th 2007,
the local ABC News channel aired a series of
segments about the risks and rewards of working
online. The first segment, aired during
the 5pm News broadcast, featured yours
truly!! And while it may not have exactly
been my full '15 minutes of fame', it sure felt
like it! What a thrill!
