Auctions for Lionel or American Flyer trains & accessories are common place here. Although, it's not unusual for you to find car parts (hence "rustyimpala")& other antique or vintage items here as well.
We love old pottery and collect Rookwood and Roseville pieces for our personal enjoyment. We get a lot of questions about the Ebay Name (RUSTYIMPALA) which comes from our other passion...Our 1967 Impala Wagon. It's a little rusty, but a great running car!! We starting collecting Griswold & Wagner cast iron pans about 4 years ago. We picked up a few at a local auction & started using them to cook with. We haven't used our stainless steel set since. The food tastes so much better in our cast iron pans & we love the fact that they clean up so easily!!

Ebay has instituted an additional facet to the feedback rating system called Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) which can reward OR penalize a seller. This is how it works: A buyer is told that a Star Rating of "4" is good and that a "5" is exceptional. Ebay PENALIZES a Seller if they do not maintain a 4.5 or higher rating. The Seller is REWARDED for a 4.6 or higher rating. Therefore a "4.0" rating is not good. For every "4" DSR that a Seller receives, it takes 19 "5"'s to make up for that one "4".
