Allow me to introduce myself. My name is RW and I am the owner of Desperado Distributing here on eBay. I also own a land based business by the same name and have been in business for 12 years.
I have a business license and a registered business name. I also have a warehouse, delivery trucks and sub contractors. I am visible and legitimate in my community wether that be on eBay, other web sites or in person.
I started out as a kid gathering up earthworms after a good rain and selling them to anglers. I put them in buckets and even my jean pockets when space ran out. I sold them for a $1.25 per dozen at the local fishing hole. You could say I built my business from the ground up.
I have built my business to $10,000+ in weekly sales, by listening to my customers, meeting their needs and solving any problems that may occur to THEIR satisfaction. I make my living by satisfying my customers.
PRODUCT PRESENTATION
I personally take all photographs of items offered by us here on eBay. I am not a very good photographer but you can rest assured that the pictures are of actual items you will recieve when ordering.
SHIPPING CHARGES
One of the things that eBay shoppers and sellers are highly concerned about are shipping costs. We do a lot of research in this area and are constantly evaluating shipping services and packing materials for speed, reliablility and security.
Shipping and packing material costs are rising exponentially. It is a constant challenge to offer the lowest possible shipping cost to compliment and enhance the convenience of online shopping for our valued customers.
We carefully calculate the cost of the shipping service and the packing supplies required for your item before we present the shipping cost in our listings. We do not charge any "handling" fees. We combine shipping to reduce your shipping costs on multiple item purchases.
FEEDBACK
Our feedback concerning shipping costs, shipping time and quality items, tells us that we are doing a stellar job for our valued customers.
eBay has recently changed the feedback rating system. Neutrals now count like Negatives when our customers leave Neutral feedback.
On 5/18/2008, we had a 100% Positive Feedback Rating as we had from our first day 4 years ago on eBay. Today, 6/28/2008, we note that it is at 98.9%.
That is still a good rating so please do not be alarmed that we are not viewed as perfect under eBay's new rating system. The Neutrals left for our business here were mostly about shipping damage. We refunded the purchases even though the buyers did not purchase shipping insurance and they were really rating the USPS's handling of their package, not us. The majority of these buyers also commended us on how we handled their situation.
