 I am a self-taught watercolor artist living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  Contemporary Realism is how my style would be labeled.  My goal is to create paintings that capture subjects which other people overlook.  I paint in a series of washes to build color, working with light, the use of light and dark and playing with shadows. 

I have been painting professionally since 1980.  Over the years there have been many awards and special recognition. While that has been important and helped build an impressive resumé, I have placed more emphasis on my personal connection with my clients.

Along with my blog paintings I paint larger work in a full size range.  I am self-published and have invested in reproductions of my paintings.   I have carefully chosen a printer that offers quality and color closest to my original. I continue to use four color offset printing.  My Originals and Prints can be found on my website.

I can be found demonstrating regularly at shows and am happy to have you look over my shoulder!  My show schedule is also on my website. 

I take pride in being prolific and feel honored that I can earn a living by doing something I so thoroughly enjoy.   I am blessed beyond my expectations.
