About Me

I have been a lifelong artist and a student of nature and the human spirit. I have always been fascinated with folklore and storytelling. It is one of the oldest methods of trying to make sense of the world around us. I am influenced by magic, myth, ancient legends & beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. I also believe that life is multi-dimensional & that there is always more going on than what we can actually see. I try to incorporate those same properties in my artwork. I'll start with an idea, symbol or a suggestion and then research the subject. My work offers the viewer a window into their imagination. It has been described as “inspiring,” “calming” and “nurtures your self expression.”

About My Work

Although I have painted traditionally using oils, watercolor and pastels, I find that I prefer combining the media and techniques to achieve the desired effect. At present I use a combination of oil, oil pastel, acrylic, ink, gold pigment and gold leaf. My work has sold internationally and has been seen in such publications as the New York Spirit, Pentacle Magazine, the Door Opener and Debbie Guzzi’s “The Healing Heart”.
