Hello, and welcome to my "About me" page
If I carved a million Santas, and only brought forth one fond memory or smile, my task would still be achieved....To embrace your creativity, and enjoy your efforts, and to see a smile appear when someone views your creation is, and always will be, the truest form of payment.... I was born in Washington Pa., in 1949 and was taught wood carving at the age of seven. I have been carving and creating full time, for many years now and started carving Santa's about twenty years ago..My oldest daughter, now grown, tagged me with the nickname "Santaman" 18 years ago..That's what I carved, so to her that's who I was...I have been blessed with tons of national publicity, and the typical awards and acknowledgements, But I know that without you, the collectors and lovers of carved Santa's, these articles, awards and such, are meaningless, and could not exist.. My original carvings ship world wide, and I thought that ebay would be a great way of getting more original carvings out to people who do not live close to the galleries that we sell through. This is my way of saying "thank you" for making what I do a success..I will strive to keep minimum bids very low, and hope you all enjoy the Christmas creations that are offered by myself, and others on this wonderful service from e-bay. I only notify people when I place new carvings up for bid if they request notification, so if you would like to be on the notification list, just send me an e-mail to santaman@atlanticbb.net with the word "add" in the subject line....Again, I thank you all for your interest in my creations, and as always, if you have something in mind that you would like me to carve and put on ebay, just drop me a line....Bill....Please note: The names "Christmas Whispers", "Christmas Found", and the sub name "Santaman" are all registered trademarks of Christmas Whispers corp., and were registered in 1989 legally and thru proper documentation. The stories, "Christmas Whispers", and all other publications we use within Christmas Whispers corp. including stories from "Christmas Found" have been copyrighted and may not be used, re-produced, altered or re-written without express consent of the owners..(25 years of upper level corporate troubleshooting taught me to protect myself).. Any use of any name with out written consent of at least two corporate officers of "Christmas Whispers inc., could lead to legal actions.
