Sarah Hazel aka. Schazel holds a degree in Photojournalism and Social Work. Having a passion for the fine arts, she subsequently studied professional photography at the New York Institute of Photography and fine art printing at the Spokane Art Center in Washington.

Schazel is a prolific Polaroid user, whose fine art skills have been commissioned by an impressive range of corporate and publishing clients, has received several awards,  and also regularly exhibits her work. Her photographs hang in numerous private collections. 

"Photography for me is much like composing music, as if for the very first  time, orchestrating a feeling into a theme through capturing expressions, the play of light, the time of exposure, the focus of colors, tones, shapes and textures.

My hope is for the viewer to be able to define his or her own song when observing my photographic art".
