Sci-fi City, which began as Enterprise 1701, was founded in 1976 in Longwood, FL. The original name was derived from the name and number of the original starship on Star Trek. We started as a small five hundred (500) square foot store. We have moved three times since the original location and were at our last site for fifteen years. Enterprise 1701 has been an important part of the Science Fiction, Gaming, Anime and Comic Industry in Central Florida for many years. We are well known and respected industry wide. In June of 1998 we moved to our current site changing both our name and corporate status - we are now Sci-Fi City with more than 10,000 square feet. In April of 2004 we started testing the ebay marketplace. Then in November of 2004 we opened Sci-Fi-City-Online, a ebay store.
