His philosophies on Ebay and this crazy world we sell in.
First of all, I wanted to thank you for actually taking the time to read this page. I want to explain to you my philosophies about Ebay. 1. Always contact the seller/buyer BEFORE leaving feedback: If I sent you something and you aren't happy with it or think I took you for a ride, talk to me. Tell me your burning problems. I do my best to explain what I sell to the BEST of my abilities. If I say an item is in FANTASTIC condition, that means it looks new or is new. If I say it is in GOOD condition, that means it will play, work or look just fine, but is not new or recently owned. 2. I always send what I sell, and I always buy what I bid on: Self explanatory. You can have the confidence in knowing that when I win an auction from you, expect the money the minute I receive an invoice. (or check my email) When you buy something from me, I will ship it out within 2 days UNLESS I have contacted you before hand to notify you of a delay. This does not happen very often. 3. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING: When you buy or sell, your attitude affects your personality. If someone isn't happy, do your best to accomodate(sp?) them. Remember that they are taking a risk just as well as you are, and friendly communication will guarantee you positive feedback and a possible returning customer. Buyers also must have a positive attitude, and not be itchy to leave bad feedback just because things didn't go 100% as you expected it to. A lot of BAD feedback is left by Ebayers that are new to the auction world and are too quick to judge those they are dealing with. 4. HAVE FUN! This place is a blast if you allow yourself to have fun. |

My thoughts on shipping prices and being "ripped off"
1. Sellers: If something costs $1.00 to ship, don't charge someone $10.00. I was looking at bidding on a CD one night and the seller wanted $13.00 shipping to Canada. You know how much it costs to send a CD from the U.S to Canada? $1.60 in most cases. I always want regular, "at your own risk" shipping, and I don't need "next day delivery". I have seen people get charged over $100 for shipping on items that were won for less than $1.00. 2. Buyers: ALWAYS ASK ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS. If you feel that you are being taken for a ride, ask the seller about it. If a seller does not include shipping cost in their auction, DON'T BID unless you ask the seller the shipping cost first. He/she may decide to charge you anything they so desire, and you would be bound by that unless you like negative feedback. 3. I TRY MY BEST to make my shipping costs as reasonable as possible. I take into account the probable cost for shipping plus the cost of the package it is being shipped in. In some cases I end up paying more for shipping than the buyer does, but that is part of the auction process. If you feel my shipping rates are too extreme, let me know. Nobody has complained yet. HAVE FUN! |

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received. Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
