Please read the information below and note that they are here to cover my hide as it were. I am not unreasonable, but having been burned by non-paying bidders and other issues I have decided to put these here. I would prefer to list all of these things and be cautious rather than continually being burned. If you have any questions or issues with any of the below, please feel free to email me and Il be happy to assist you. I will not be held responsible for any infractions of the below because buyers did not read the policy.
General Information
Clothing items that are in used condition have been laundered in my home. We use general scented products in the laundry. If you are highly sensitive to fragrances, please note that the item will have a laundry and fabric softener fragrance to them.
ALL ITEMS are from a clean, smoke free home unless I state that it has not been in my home long. We do however have one cat. Occasionally a stray hair slips past me and may be found by you in the packaging or on the item. He is an indoor cat and very clean, but a cat nonetheless.
Due to a recent wave of buyers (and sellers) not leaving feedback, I am changing my feedback policy. From here on out I will leave feedback for you upon receiving it for myself. I am very fair and generally go above and beyond to make things right and am tired of having snarky, immature, and generally rude feedback left after bending over backwards. Please know that one (or three) bad apples spoiled the bunch on this and I am only changing the policy to protect my ratings.
Payment Information
I gladly combine shipping on any and all items. You have 7 days to pay for your items starting on the day that the first item ended. HOWEVER, if you are bidding on quite a lot and there is a one or two day window over the 7 please contact me. I will gladly wait if contacted.
Payment is expected within 7 days of the auction ending. If you cannot pay within 7 days, please contact me to discuss the situation. After 7 days with no contact I will open an unpaid item dispute. I then wait for ebay to decide. If you pay before they end the dispute, I will send your item. If not, and final value fee is granted to me you can expect an unpaid item strike from ebay and negative feedback from me. Buying an item on ebay is like entering a somewhat legal and binding agreement. If you then do not pay and do not bother to offer an explanation as to why you are breaking your end of the agreement. Not only is it wrong, but it is rude as well.
Most of my items are listed in waves. For example, I may list 6 items on Tuesday. Generally, the items all go out at the same time. If you pay quickly, your item goes out as soon as I can get to it (within 3 days). If it takes you 9 days to pay it may take me an extra day or so to ship your item as I had expected to be done with it sooner.
I welcome international buyers, but they must pay via paypal and have priority shipping. The new USPS rates and policies have left little other option, and I now will only ship international priority. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Shipping Information
I ship out items within 3 days of the auction ending. The shipping cost listed is to cover the shipping, and then rounded up to cover packing materials, paypal fees, printing fees for labels, etc. If it costs $2.65 to mail 3 books to you via media mail and I charged $3.00 that is not a profit margin, it is merely to defray costs associated with shipping. I do not mark the shipping up to ridiculous prices. Please realize that USPS shipping rates went up on May 15th. Priority mail now starts at $4.60, and the flat rate box is not $8.95. All of the rates went up a bit and will be reflected in the pricing.
I ship via paypal usually. You will receive an email from paypal with the tracking information in it and the date of shipment. If you have paypal emails going to your bulk folder, you will either have to look for it or change your options. This is considered communication from me as it has the information regarding the shipment of your item/s in it. IF you do not receive this, or do not want to change your bulk options, you can check the tracking of your item by going to ebay.com and clicking the Won Items link. From there you go to the item and in the drop down box next to the item choose View Order Details. Click that and the tracking information will show up as a link to follow and view the status of your package. Some post offices do not scan the bar code to indicate where it is but this will tell you when I printed the label and you will be able to figure out when your item will reasonably arrive.
Please note the usps estimated shipping time and note that this is not the responsibility of the seller. I have little to no control over your item once I give it to the post office. PLEASE, please, PLEASE note this information. Media mail is inexpensive (books, DVD, tapes, CD) but is VERY slow. It can take up to 3 weeks to arrive with the detailed ratings system one of the questions is shipping time. Please remember what you paid for and how quickly the seller gets the item into the mail before you unjustly mark for the usps speed. If you are in a rush for your item, please choose priority mail shipping. There is always the option for that on my items.
Return Policy
I currently do not offer a return policy. I take great pride in the time and detail I devote to describing and listing items. I do my best to accurately describe and photograph all items, and I believe that my feedback speaks for itself in this case. I do not return or exchange items unless I have described an item very badly. In most cases flaws and the like are mentioned in the description. I will not take returns of knitting, sewing, crochet, or cross stitch patterns for obvious reasons.
I do realize that there is human error, and people eventually make mistakes. If you find that I have grossly misrepresented an item or made another error, please contact me and we will discuss it. I do not take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the mail that were not insured. I can prove that items were shipped through paypal and do not accept penalty for your lack of purchasing insurance. If you do purchase insurance and have an issue, I will pursue it to the fullest extent and reach a satisfactory conclusion.
