Hello and welcome to my about me page...
I have been sewing for about 35 years and I try to make the very best quality sets I can..I know that word of mouth is the best avertisment and that is what I am doing...you can read my feedback and see that everyone who buys one of my sets are very happy with their purchase...
But I started in my home just making these to see if they would sell..and I guess that they did far better than I thought they would!!
I have four children whom I love dearly and I know how special that first child is to a mother to be..I started working in a sewing plant at the age of 15 and worked in one until 1986 and then I wanted to do something more than sew..so I took a job as a mechanical assembler and went back to school to learn more skills that I have today.. I was in remission from rhumatoid arthristis and began to work again in 1997 I work for a company that sewed casket interiors I was the lead sewer in the company here and trained a lot of people for them.
I started sewing crib sets last year and decided it would be the perfect thing for me as I still love to sew...and I hope to grow and make all my customers happy..
I decided that I had mechanical experience and sewing experience and decided to put them together to design these crib sets and others..I know how to build a sewing machine from the start to finish..When I worked I built the walker tape feeders and ap22 for one company and the tape feeders,as they feed lace and trim into the sewing machines...so I have a lot of experience behind me..My daughter helps me cut and I am teaching her my skills...she is a lot of help to me with this condition and I love her dearly..She has two lovely children of her own and are precious to me..I sound like a grandmother now...lol and yes that is me in the picture on the page with my oldest daughter..I could never keep shoes on her when she was little either....lol
