I have had my own business as an artist for a number of years now. I call it "Little House Creations". Under this name I make art dolls and decorative home items such as cushions, bed linens, wallhangings, floorcloths. These have a "homespun" or "shabby chic" look.  Some of my dolls look old, since I use vintage fabrics or dye them to create the same look. 

I have just started a new line called "L'enfant Unique" which is French for only child, which I am.  This is a more sophisticated line of products featuring handbags, totebags, cushions made of funky fabrics and trims. My jewelry is also included in this line. I use polymer clay, wire, beads and found items for these.

To make room for the fabric that I keep accumulating, I have decided to offer some of my fabulous finds to others. I have always been crazy about rooting around in thrift stores and at yard sales and have found some fabulous things. One of my ongoing passions is fashion. While I only wear black myself, I am fascinated with color and style. I still can't resist a designer piece, even if I will never wear it.

Nostalgia is another thing that moves me. I love to wander through antique malls and see things that my grandmother had, or now that I am a grandmother, I am starting to see things that I had when I was first married. Oh where do the years go? And why did I get rid of all that stuff?
