What can I say? I LOVE eBay! I've been a member since 2003, mostly buying~with a little selling here and there. I have a beautiful daughter and a wonderful husband, and I've bought things for all of us here. I recommend this place to all of my friends and family!
I let my feedback stand for itself...I'm a prompt payer, and have only had a couple of problems here in 3 1/2 years. The latest negative in my feedback is a cut and dried case of fraud~the handbag in question was sent to Dooney & Bourke for verification, and the seller was contacted about it the day that I received it. I told her I was sending the bag in to D & B after she told me she did not have a receipt and could not prove it was real. After receiving the bag back from D & B, she refused a refund. And then retaliated with viscious lies when I left her a negative. The case is still in reveiw with Paypal, and I will post the outcome here when the case is closed. I am an honest person with nothing to hide, and that is why I have directed anyone to come here for an explanation of the situation. Thanks for coming and happy eBaying!! | THIS BUYER NOTIFIED MY WEEKS AFTER WINNING THE ITEM THAT THE HANDBAG WAS NOT AUTHENTIC. I ASKED HER TO PROVIDE PROOF OF THE HANDBAG NOT BEING AUTHENTIC. I HAVE PROOF THAT IT IS. I HAVE A RECEIPT THAT THE DOONEY & BOURKE HANDBAG WAS PURCHASED ABOUT A YEAR AGO AT DOONEY & BOURKE IN THE OUT LET MAIL OF GROVE CITY PA. I AM DISPUTING THIS CLAIM. I DO NOT WISH TO REFUND THIS WOMAN. I BELIEVE SHE IS FRAUDING ME. WHEN TOO MUCH TIME HAS PASSED, I DO NOT BELIEVE REFUNDS OR CREDITS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE. |

| I bought this bag from the seller on Aug.28,2006. When I received the item, it looked like an imitation. I emailed the seller about my concerns, and she responded with the insuation that I bought it for a one-time use and then wanted a refund. I assured her that this was not the case, and contacted Dooney & Bourke to see what steps I should take to verify the bag's authenticity. They advised me to send the bag in to their Repair Dept. for inspection-which I did. I emailed the seller of my intentions as well. I received the bag back today along with a letter stating"We very much regret returning the item you sent us for repair. The item is a couterfeit Dooney&Bourke, made of inferior materials and bearing illegally copied trademarks." This is only the opening statement of the Letter. Their number is 1-800-347-5000 and the lady's name is Carolyn P Donahue-Administrative Assistant, Anti-Counterfeiting Dept. I emailed the seller with this information and she wants me to send her the letter so she can verify it's authenticity. I have done NOTHING dishonest, and have tried to work amicably with her on this issue...only to have my honesty questioned when is is HERS that is highly speculative. | |
