Hi I'm Pamela and owner of Shimmy Bliss.  I've been involved in belly dancing for along time and my dream was to some day own my own business.  So I left the corp. world and went into belly dancing full time combining my love of performing, teaching and costuming.  In Feb. 2004 my friend and I started creating and importing exquisite belly dance costumes.  In May 2004 I took the business on full time and opened my eBay store.  With the change in ownership I took Shimmy Bliss in a new direction concentrating on the needs of the American Tribal Dancer.

Some know me as Yasmina especially in Arizona where I reside with my husband, dog Ratso and my two royal pythons Fethe & Ka.  I teach dance four nights a week plus teach workshops and perform with my troupe Hipnotic Hips.

I still can't believe that I'm living my dream of taking my hobby of belly dancing and making it my livelihood.  When I shimmy I'm shimming in bliss :-)

I know how hard it is to shop online when you can't touch, feel or try it on and I want my customers to be happy with what they purchase from Shimmy Bliss.

Most of these items I import are old and worn which gives them the character we look for in our costuming.  Many items are one of a kind and hard to find so when you see it you might want to purchase it since I can't get any more.

I bring in new items all the time and search for the unique pieces and offer them at an affordable price for all dancers to own and enjoy.
