Hi! My name is Sue and my hobby/passion is selling new sterling silver jewelry at shows and collecting vintage or unique sterling and costume jewelry. Some I keep for my own collection and some I sell. Someday I hope to have a website offering my personal collection pieces for sale. I love to buy quality jewelry of almost any kind. I strive to always be honest and desire to be known for that in my business. I work fulltime and all the other is my hobby. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband (married 28 years) and we have an 19 year old son who is a freshman at U.T. Austin, majoring in journalism - probably the photography track or graphic design. He is an amazing writer and can do just about everything or anything he wants to.nbsp; Our 22 year old daughter is a graduate of UT Austin, a 2nd degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do, loves children and dogs and weighs 90 pounds soaking wet! She is currently working as a billing assistant for a children's rehab center, but plans on teaching elementary school in the next year or two. She is a certified elementary school teacher. Our family also includes 4 dogs - a 15 year old Golden Retriever, a12 year old Lab/Shepard and her two "puppies" who are now 5 years old. |

As far as my eBaying goes, I started to help make extra money to make ends meet but I can't imagine not doing it now. It's a real thrill to seek out treasures in thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales, auctions. I particularly look for jewelry (obviously!), quality and/or designer clothes and accessories, trinket boxes and other vanity items and collectible figurines/items. But I will buy anything that peaks my interest. It's fun to come home and try to find out about it. I am drawn to old paper/print items -perhaps because I love to read. I rarely sell them because they don't usually sell very well, but I still buy them - old greeting cards and letters (it's interesting to read the letters and the notes on used cards), sheet music, etc. My son is very knowledgeable about pop culture and "stuff." He was on kids Jeopardy! three years ago and won his game. He just bought his first car - yikes! He finds vintage pop culture items interesting and enjoys reading anything almost. My daughter is totally wrapped up in her friends and new job. She loves children and dogs. She is pretty neutral on my hobby - except for the extra money that benefits her! My husband totally supports my hobby and wants to get more involved someday. |
