When I was Just a kid looking to do something with my life I wanted to be in Movies. But Like so my others before had no talent and no looks. But, I was in Love with the Big Screen.

I can remember  movies Classics  like VIncent Price's House on Haunted Hill it was an Old Black and White,but I  loved it.And Planet of the Apes was a Landmark Movie for the make- up special effects World .It was the first movie where they could alter the look of the main Artors.Thanks to Tom  McLaughlin the founder and creatator of Hot foam latex.my #1 Hero

And the World of special effects was never the same, people went nutts for this type of look in the Movies,  making people faces up to be any kind of creature you could imagne.

Then came one of my Top Five Heros in this world the late Great Jim Henson and the movie world blew a gear again when they saw little animatronic puppets that could act ,dance, sing and cry like real people. everything from Farscape to Muppets were taking over the world.Then Jim Hensen joined up with Brain Froud and the world of make up artist went spinning again,Mr. Froud is known for Dark Crystal and the Labyrinth !986 Movie... with David Bowe being a well know faries artist on his own merit.

Two More Great Hollywood makeup artist are Dick Smith and Rick Baker, the two of them have done so many movies that I would need more space than this to list them all. but one that everyone know and they both worked on was Ron Horward's Grinch.....So these are my Hero's and that is how I got in the Business Five Great Men who have brought Happiness to the world of Make Belive so we can all forget our problems ..even if is just for a little while.
