My Nurse Doll Collection

Welcome!

Hello!  Welcome to my E-Bay webpage.  This is where you can learn a little more about me.

First off, I'm a busy mother of 6 wonderful and active children.  I also work full time as a nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit.  As if this doesn't keep me busy enough I am also active in my church where I teach a class of 6 three year olds.  I also play the organ for my church. 

Besides all of the above I have many hobbies.  I love music and love making music.  I play piano, guitar and organ.  I love making music for my computer, usually using the midi format.  I also enjoy reading and I read a wide variety of books from mystery to science fiction and from thrillers to inspirational.  Other hobbies are movies, computer games (role playing and adventure), genealogy, some crafts and anything else that catches my interest at the moment.

I also love collecting things.  Most of what I collect are dolls and of those most are Madame Alexander.  I also tend to collect clocks, music boxes, globes and maps, antiques, books, movies and many other things.

I guess you could say that another hobbie I have is selling and buying things on E-bay.  I enjoy shopping garage sales and flea markets and going to real auctions, finding items, cleaning them up and fixing them up and then selling them on E-bay.  I plan on learning more about fixing up, restoring and making reborn dolls, since dolls are my first love.

About the dolls.  I have always loved dolls.  My mother would give me a doll every Christmas and I always loved my dolls.  One year, when I was a teenager, she decided I was getting too old to keep getting dolls, so she didn't give me a doll that year for Christmas.  I was very upset with her and ever since she has remembered to give me a doll for Christmas.

Most of the dolls I collect are Madame Alexander, but I do have others also.  My pride and joy right now is a Madame Alexander composition baby doll which I'm fixing up.  Another pride and joy is an original Kissy baby doll and Kissy toddler doll dressed in the original clothes.  Those I played with as a child and always loved.  One last pride and joy is my Hasbro Little Miss No Name.  I have loved her also since I was a child. 

I'm attempting to create a webpage (another hobby) of all my dolls, but I need to get the pictures taken.  Soon I'll have it up and it will be available in the links below.
