Welcome to Slippery Tricks Vintage clothing. We thank you for visiting our site. We have been in business since 2004 and we specialize in one of a kind unique Vintage Designed clothing and hand made items. This site will take you on a Retro Rewind of the past and add some new kicks to it. I got started into fashion at a young age , it started by collecting vintage jewelery from flea markets My parents and I would frequent. When I went to High School I auditioned for the performing arts in the field of Artistic set design , Costuming , and Lighting. I was excited to work in the art field , but as budgets for plays would tighten and material reams would go up , I had to learn to take the thrifty way and would alter or redo vintage items to suit them for the purpose intended.
Well since High School comes and goes I went to college and studied Theater Arts , Make-up artistry and Fashion design. I lived and worked in New York for a couple of years , and even went to Florida down to a famous theme park . I eventually ended up for almost 3 years working for two major Modeling companies based in North Carolina , New York , California and Toronto. I did make-up artistry for models and worked with photography ,sets , and shows. Since travel can take its wear on a person and There is No Place Like home I decided to come home and free lance. I teach now and then and will work on the occasional artistic event that will blow through town , do work around the community and thus created this new ebay site .
Now home to rest I work and do this along with my other Jobs , Hobbies and Tasks. My other ebay site ( antique*hideout ) that I have had since 2004 has allowed me to freelance and sell items that I have restored , redone , made or bought. Some of the companies include Dreamworks , Dresses for Broadway plays in the United Kingdom , Feather hats for Rodeo and Horse shows , Dance wear for productions, and other various items for shows/events. Out of everything I have done and places I have been there is nothing like running your own little store and when it comes to my work the best feeling I get is being able to bring and sell Fashion to all of you that inspire and bring out the fabulous in everyday aside from what magazines , TV , or Gossip tells us what we should where look like , be or etc.
