| Sparta Soap (spartasoap) will be listing infrequently on ebay. The new feedback policies are working against us. We do have a website and we do list on etsy. Our ebay prices are 6% higher than our other venues. We love Olive Oil. Sparta Soap is made with Olive Oil. We make our own soap so we can use more of this wonderful oil. We use modern techniques and simple ingredients. Sparta Soap is luxury you can afford to use (and indulge in!) every day. Why Sparta Soap? Sparta Soap is uncomplicated. It contains only four to six soapmaking oils. None of our oils are "filler" oils. They all have a purpose. Our soap contains 40% Olive Oil. Olive Oil will always be the first oil listed in our ingredients. Coconut and Palm Kernel Oils add suds and hardness. We do not hesitate to use Coconut oil. It is not drying when used correctly. Rice Bran, Canola and/or Soybean Oils are used to add lather, richness and to help make a non-drying bar of soap. One thing to remember is that soap is a rinse off product. It really doesn't make much sense in our opinion to add fancy butters or oils that are much more wisely used in leave on products. Soap is not a moisturizer, but it can be non-drying. Sparta Soap is sudsy and mild. If you have never tried our handmade soap, you won't believe the difference! The lather is creamier, the soap is non-drying and our unique scent blends are wonderfully subtle. As an added benefit, the appearance of our naturally colored soap is simple and elegant. Sparta Soap is luxury you can afford to use, every day. We create each batch of soap. Sparta Soap has a unique appearance, scent and shape. Our original essential oil blends are formulated by us. Our soap is the result of our own ideas, essential oil scent blends, botanical additives and hard work. Some of our most popular ingredients are: Dead Sea Mud, Powdered Herbs, Calamine Powder, Rhassoul Clay and Aloe. We chose an Olive Branch in our logo, because we believe Olive Oil is the best thing for our soap and other products. The Olive Tree is a symbol of strength, fertility and longevity. Our Castile Soap is a classic Castile soap containing 100% Olive Oil. The appearance of handmade soap may vary from batch to batch. Essential Oils, Botanicals and even our main soap oils may differ. Such is the nature of handmade. We think this adds to its charm! Please note that Sparta Soap is often more subtly scented than commercial soap. We don't like being overwhelmed. So please don't expect a strong scent that will fill a room or stay on your skin. Packaging: Our soap is labeled with a cigar band style label with our own hand drawn image. Each product is labeled with all ingredients listed. We do not wrap in plastic or shrink wrap. We ship soap in plastic bags to protect it in transit. Upon receipt of your soap, we suggest you remove it from the bag and store it away from strong light. We prefer to store our soap in cardboard rather than plastic to allow more air flow. Strong light may cause our natural colorants to lighten, but will not affect the quality of the soap. Note to Vegans: Our soap has always been made with vegetable oils. This isn't a fad or marketing technique for us, it's just how we make our soap. All of our ingredients are listed making it easy to know which products are right for you. Ingredients List: We list actual ingredients in order of predominance in our listings and on our labels. Our Colors: We color with Clays, Spices, Botanicals, Herbs, etc. We love the soft colors of powdered herbs, clays and spices. Allergies: Our superfatted handmade soap is milder than commercial soap, but it is not hypo-allergenic.
