Welcome to sta_tru's Penn State Buttons, Pins and Toys on eBay! Our motto is "Make a Purchase, Receive a Friend". We are committed to keep customers coming back by promising to sell items that they need and are looking for at a fair, reasonable price, but yet remain competitive with other sellers' prices. We hope to add you to our growing collection of satisfied customers and friends. First and foremost we are HONEST Dealers! We attempt to be as upfront in describing our items' details as we possibly can. However we do buy used items and it is impossible to describe every flaw or defect, regardless of how minor it may be. This does not mean that the item is being misrepresented. I am a native Pennsylvanian, having grown up in Carlisle and moved to Shermans Dale (a mere 10 miles away) when I got married 30+ years ago. I pride myself on being an honest, fun-loving, reliable and highly dependable person. My husband and I enjoy riding our Harley on weekends and when any other time allows. We enjoy spending quality time with our family and extended families. Our last several vacations have consisted of traveling to as many lighthouses as time will allow us. I was a tay-at-home Momthe whole time our kids were at home. Now as an mpty-nesterI quickly found that caring for our houseful of pets (the oysa miniature dachshund and a Pomeranian, 3 cats, a freshwater aquarium and a fully stocked reef aquarium) I still had a lot of empty time on my hands. That is, until the day I discovered the inviting and continually growing world of eBay. My Dad is a huge Penn State follower and fan. He been a season ticket holder to the football games for over 30 years and more recently, to the men and ladiesbasketball games for a number of years as well. We often have attended games as a family and he & Mom have made it a tradition to attend many of the away games and various Bowl games at the end of the season. Dad & Mom have basically, over the years, found that they had transformed their home into a Joe Paterno / Penn State / Nittany Lion shrine! Upon retiring, they decided to begin down-sizing some of their collection. (Thus, the need for them to find someone to help them ease their load of some duplicate Penn State items.) We have begun our joint ebay venture by auctioning many of his duplicate game day buttons/pins he collected since the early 70. We quickly learned that he wasn the only interested party in these highly collectible bank giveaways.. And naturally, once my husband found that I could possibly be on the road to becoming a successful novice entrepreneur, he decided to start finding some more items for me to test the waters with. So, here I am, finding nearly NO time now to cook dinners, clean my house, do the gardening, etc. Oh, WELL!! We list items several times in a week's time. Our return rating is 0%. This translates into 100% of our customers being completely pleased with our merchandise and our customer service. We have learned that this is all a result of their entire satisfaction in each and every transaction. Check out our PERFECT Feedback ratings!

Now to the boring (but necessary) things Ie learned since becoming a seller on eBay We automatically ship multiple auction wins ending within 3 days of one another in order to save you shipping costs. When emailing questions about a particular item please be sure to properly identify and clearly describe the item so that we can answer you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please don wait until the last minute to ask questions about a specific item up for auction. We don want to miss your question. An email after 6pm ET will be answered on the following day. Sometimes we might have to do some homework, make some phone calls or it might entail some added leg work in order to find your answer, so please be patient. We are not ignoring you. Also, please keep in mind that eBay does not always send us end-of-auction emails until well after you have been notified by them that you have been named high/winning bidder. We have no idea why this is, but sometimes there are inevitable delays out of our control. We notify all winning bidders a soon as eBay notifies us, but not before in order to avoid any problems, conflicts or confusion. Shipping is done via the US Postal Service in the most cost effective means possible. We only pass along the cost of packing materials to our customers. This includes padded envelopes, packing tape, bubble wrap, peanuts, paper, tissue and boxes not provided free by the Postal Service. We can only accept PayPal payments from confirmed PayPal members. This is to protect you as well as for our own protection. This is a PayPal regulation, not ours. In order to be covered by the buyer/seller protection policies we may only accept payments from confirmed PayPal members. If you are not a confirmed PayPal member and we have had no previous successful transaction, we will have to return your payment and have you pay by cash, money order or cashier check. We no longer accept personal checks as payment for several obvious reasons. We have been stung by bad checks in the past and have since learned that if we hold a buyer check until it clears that people don understand the delay between their payment and them receiving their purchase. Waiting up to 2 weeks for the payment to clear can cause inevitably long delays in processing, shipping and closing the transaction. That is just our of our control, so we simply discontinued accepting payments by personal check to remove the quandary. If you find that you are unhappy with an item youe purchased, PLEASE contact us within 7 days. We will do what we can to make things right. We will only accept returns if the item is not as described in the auction and it is within 10 days of shipment. Postage is beyond our control. If you need to return an item wel return the purchase price ONLYnot the return shipping. The eBay fees, PayPal fees (if item was paid for through PayPal) and a nominal restocking fee will be deducted from the amount being refunded. You must contact us PRIOR to returning the item otherwise we will not accept its delivery. Please insure the returned item for the price you paid for it. The returned item must be returned in its original pre-auction condition. It can not be altered or switched with a similar item or it will be returned to you at your expense and appropriate NEGATIVE feedback will be left in your profile. ALL sales are considered FINAL after 2 WEEKS from the auction closing date. We keep a photo inventory of all items we list for 60 days. This is to ensure we can properly identify a damaged item or in case you may need to have a photo of what you bought for any reason. We WILL NOT re-negotiate eBay final auction sale prices. We also WILL NOT END A SALE EARLY!! This is not fair to other bidders. If you are even considering bidding on any of our items and think that after the sale, that you can attempt to re-negotiate the purchase price, please don give it a second thought. Youl do nothing but EMBARRASS YOURSELF! If we are approached with this tactic we will have no option but to forward your request on to eBay customer service representatives to have them further deal with the consequences earned. And PLEASE, if you have NO INTENTION ON PAYING, DO NOT bother to BID on our auctions! If PAYMENT is NOT MADE within 7 DAYS of auction end, a NON-PAYING BIDDER ALERT will be issued with eBay, a NON-PAYING DISPUTE ACTION will be filed with eBay, NEGATIVE FEEDBACK will be left in your user profile and YOU WILL BE BLOCKED from making FUTURE BIDS on ANY of our FUTURE auctions. Please respectfully leave a POSITIVE feedback remark as soon as possible following the transaction. Ie found if I let it wait, that it inevitably gets forgotten. (Or is that old age setting in) I supply my buyers with positive feedback as soon as the transaction/payment clears. I would really appreciate the same respect in return. We always strive to properly describe our items as accurately as possible and are not afraid to mention any imperfections we may find. Our goal is to be honest in our listings and in our responses to your questions. We want to build confidence in our customers (past and future). It is our theory that if you are happy and satisfied through our dealings, that you will become a repeat customer and feel confident enough to recommend us to other possibly interested parties.
