Thanks for looking...
Thank you for coming to my page.
I'm having a blast on eBay, and plan to be part of the community for a long time to come.

Why am I here?
In the beginning, there was......
no, no, no,  that's too far back.
Actually, my background includes 15 years in the restaurant biz, the Marine Corps, and several years in the computer and information technology field.

The restaurant business was starting to wear out my elbows and knees by the time I was 30, so I decided to focus on my love of computers and the internet. In 2001, I worked hard to earn my , and around that time, the tech industry went kablooey. So after I (like so many of my friends) was laid off, I was doing computer services and design work for people; everything from repairing and upgrading computers and servers, to home network setup, to business card and web page design. In a short period of time, I had 2 different people ask me if I might be able to sell something of theirs on eBay, as neither of them were interested in doing it themselves. I soon found out that this is a very interesting, fun, and strong community.

Now I've set up my own account to sell some things that I no longer need. I have become an eBay certified auction Trading Assistant, as I love the people here and the community interaction. The groups are awesome, and for those of you who haven't visited any, there is a wealth of information there to help you, including mini online Workshop sessions that they archive for use by everyone.

I would really appreciate any feedback as to what needs there are as far as offering something on eBay that would be needed/wanted, or something that people are interested in buying, but don't seem to readily find it here yet. I originally thought about selling refurbished computers (and do occaisionally sell a few), but there are so many used computers for sale, and I'd rather have something to offer that would be more unique and useful to the community at large. I am always ready to help anyone who is buying something from me, and if you ever receive something you're not happy with, please let me know so we can make it right. I wouldn't want something I'm not happy with, and I bet you wouldn't either. But the best way for you to tell me that, is if you contact me personally, as opposed to my finding out through a negative feedback comment. I always enjoy leaving positive comments, and I'm sure you do too. I look forward to serving you, and hearing from you at stevo_cali@mybrothersteve.com Until then, live long and prosper.

About my sales:
I really want to work hard to make people happy, so PLEASE contact me before making a decision to leave negative or neutral feedback. I will have the same courtesy for you, as I love to LEAVE positive feedback for you, as well.

For just about all of my sales, I accept PayPal and money orders. I find that the Post Office or a major grocery store can be the least expensive places to get money orders. My own bank charges me $6.00, but the the grocery store down the street only charges 89 cents.

Also, my goal is always to ship via the most efficient means possible - efficient for YOU, that is. If you have a preference as to how you want something shipped, please let me know after you have won an auction. I realize that some people really like having a particular company deliver to them, or they have had a number of unpleasant experiences with a delivery company, and want to avoid dealing with them. I will almost always use USPS Parcel Post as the default shipping, but if you'd like to use a specific shipper, such as FedEx, UPS, or the U.S. Postal Service, we can make that work, too.

I'll be happy to ship via an expidited method, such as 2-day or 1-day, for anyone that doesn't mind spending the extra to get what they want faster. I have found that depending on where something is going, it may only cost a few bucks extra to ship 2-3 day instead of ground. Where they really hit you up for the extra CA$H is on 1-day  —› so, unless you are extremely anxious, or you are having something shipped that's a couple hundred dollars or more, it's usually not worth the extra money they charge for 1-day (just my opinion, of course). Also, I will usually ship the following business day that payment is received, depending on the time of day the payment is received.

I try to recycle whenever I can, and I'll try to use packing material that is still in good condition, if it doesn't affect the safety of what I'm sending, so I don't have to charge extra for packing/handling (unless I have to get a special box or packing material). I'll always work to ship as efficiently as possible to make sure everything comes to you...   like I'd want it to come to me.

If you have comments or suggestions, please let me know. Happy browsing and bidding to you!
About my buying:
I love to buy all sorts of..... errrrr........... interesting (okay, wierd) stuff, especially things related to habañeros. I also like coffee stuff, Corvettes, traffic lights, music, and well, the list goes on. Now I just need to get rid of some of the current stuff at home to make room for new stuff. I will only bid on your items if I actually intend to buy it (wouldn't it be great if everyone shared that philosiphy). I will pay promptly and communicate as neccessary. I ask that the people I buy from do the same, because I love to LEAVE positive feedback for you as much as I enjoy receiving it, myself.
