I learned to do stained glass about 3 years ago from my grandmother. She had been taking some classes since she retired and wanted to show me what she had been doing. After making an apple....I was hooked. I have been creating stained glass ever since. It has evolved over the past year into a full time passion. I have created many custom works and always look forward to the challenge of creating more. I like talking to people about what they want out of the design I am attemping to bring to life for them so they will get a lifetime of enjoyment from it. I have done a few window panels of military designs, birds, a veterinarian's symbol, a unicorn and many others. I have made many small suncatchers of various types from butterflies to snowflakes. It's not work for me, it's not a job for me, it's a passion and I enjoy it very much.

Along with the custom orders I have filled I have sold many items at craft fairs and at a craft guild I belong to as well as on consignment in a new age store. I thought of selling on ebay to try to expand my base of customers to reach as many people as I can to share my passion with them and to let them know I am here willing to change any idea they might have into a glorious, shimmering panel of glass or box or suncatcher or any other thing they might come up with. It's a challenge and I enjoy challenges. So if you have an idea brewing let me help you put it into reality.

Soy candles in mason jars

I also make candles. I make my candles from 100% soy. I have a very bad reaction from candles made with paraffin wax. Paraffin wax is a petroleum product and when it's burned it puts carcinogens into the air. In a closed environment like a house the poisons can quickly fill the air. If you have ever burned a paraffin wax candle you will notice a ring of black icky stuff around the top. You are also breathing this nasty stuff into your lungs, putting it on your furniture and walls and into your ductwork. This is not from the flame. It is caused by burning petroleum. Soy candles burn clean. They leave no ring of nasty black film and don't put any into the air. Especially if the candle is soy only and has no color or scent added. I create a variety of candles with and without color and scent. So far neither kind creates any irritation for me. I enjoy burning candles as do many people but I just couldn't because they bothered me so much. Now, with my soy candles, I have my lovely scents and the atmosphere that only candles can give, once again. I would like to share my new found freedom with others so I am offering my candles here on ebay. I make them in my spare time (haha). I pour them into mason jars by hand. It's actually alot of fun because my kids get to help and it has turned into a family affair. The soy wax is completely water soluble so all spills clean up easily with just a little water and once the candle has burned down completely the jar can be cleaned with just soap and water and reused. Soy also burns at a lower temperature than paraffin candles so the candle will burn for a longer period of time.
