What is an ACEO?
ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. Art cards measure 2.5" x 3.5" and can be framed for display or simply collected. Many people find these wonderful little works of art to be very addictive. They are wonderful and are created by a variety of great artists here on ebay. Thanks for taking the time to look!
About ME
Hi! My name is Kathryn M. Pinkham and I'm the Co-owner and artist of Sunrise Workshop and Gallery in Brownville, Maine. I've been a dedicated artist for most of my life and am pleased to make my little works available to you.
Customer service is VERY important to me! Please feel free to ask questions about my work. If at any time you are not happy with an order for ANY reason, please contact me right away! I have even been known to repair work injured by the customer at no extra cost. Your happiness is my goal!
I use care in shipping my original works of art. I want each delightful card to get to it's new home in the same beautiful condition it left in!
I feel Honesty is the best policy and will try to describe all works accurately. Shipping includes protective packaging. Please contact me for combined shipping! I am happy to combine for savings when possible.
****New ebay Users**** Welcome I DO NOT block bids on new user Id's.
Some sellers block bids on new user Id's due to recent high numbers of non-paying bidders. I refuse to block new users because I feel that everyone has to start somewhere.
New Users please take the time to read these tips.
Reading Auctions and Bidding
Take the time to read the entire auction listing carefully. I often read them several times. Important information about shipping, policies, etc should be included in the auction. If these things are unclear ASK the seller BEFORE you bid! Understand that your winning bid or buy it now is a contract. Only bid if you plan on paying for the item. Non paying bidders are reported and kicked off ebay daily.
Probably a high percentage of non-payed bids are a result of the buyer not reading the terms carefully. Please read the listings carefully!
Most sellers are meticulous about writting their terms clearly so there is no confusion. Please read these carefully and if you don't like what you see......don't bid, chances are you'll find your desired item elsewhere.

After the auction ends
Here's where I find new users get excited. You've won your first auction and....Now what? The best thing to do is relax. Most sellers will invoice their customers within a hour often times much less. Try not to bombbard your seller with questions like how do I pay, etc. Relax, take a break and give your seller some time to act. If you haven't recieved any communication from the seller (say after several hours or even a day) then use the request invoice button next to the purchase on your bidding/buying page. The invoice will include clear instructions on how to pay for the item, your total after shipping charges, and an address to send your payment to. If you plan on mailing a money order it is nice to let your seller know that you are paying that way. Just drop a quick e-mail saying you're sending payment via snail mail. See the e-bay help payment page here
Shipping and Receiving your Item
Shipping and processing orders takes time. Don't expect your item to arrive in 2 1/2 days. Don't worry, chances are it will come. Most experienced sellers would never try to cheat their customers. Repeat business is too important! If you've waited what seems to you a long time kindly contact the seller asking about the item's status. Good sellers respond promptly to all reasonable requests for info. Communication is important here. Try your best to communicate well before leaving negative feedback and/or reporting the seller to e-bay.
After you receive your item inspect it immediately. Damage due to shipping must be reported with the shipping carrier. If your package is badly damaged do not accept it. Report defective products with your seller immediately. Also remember what the sellers terms of service were, some sellers offer no returns at all. Others are really good about reasonable returns.
See the e-bay help "inspecting your package" page here
Feedback
Feedback is extremely important to both sellers and buyers. It is our only way of reflecting what kind of buyer or seller we are. Please only leave factual feedback. And only leave negative feedback after repeatedly trying to work out the problem via e-mail first. Communication is very important!
You only get the chance to leave feedback once so make sure you hang on to it until after the transaction is complete.
Also don't forget about spam filters. If you haven't heard from a seller check your spam filter. Many times lack of contact = spam filter trashed your incoming messages.
