Svengali's Page


Hi, I'm Carol from Los Angeles, CA, via San Francisco, via Detroit, Michigan. Joe and I share the eBay user name "svengali", we've been trading on eBay since 1996. We share our lives with two crazy parrots and a stray cat we adopted in the winter of 2004, see their pictures below. Carol specializes in vintage and antique clothing buttons which she sells and collects. She belongs to several button clubs and societies including the National Button Society, Calif. State Button Society, Los Angeles Button Club, ButtonBytes (onine club) and MilButtons (uniform button online club). She's been President of the Los Angeles Button Club since Jan. 2004 and often competes and judges at state and national button shows and currently serves as Awards Chair for the Calif. Carol has been selling antiques and collectibles for almost 30 years through shops and at shows, on eBay and her website. Look at who I ran into at the Pasadena Rose Bowl Flea Market, "Uncle Griff" (Jim Griffith). Griff has helped people at eBay since the very beginning and has gone on to great things including Dean of eBay University and chief DJ of eBay Radio. Griff is a legend to those of us who have been around a while and he continues to make new friends and help everyone who asks. Thanks Uncle Griff!
