Hi, I like to hang out with friends. I have been an athlete in the Special Olympics for more then twenty years.
I like playing Bop It Extreme and Bop It Blast. Another Bop It Game I found is Download.
I like all kinds of music but not rap or hard rock. County is my #1. I like all kinds of movies but horror. Romantic comedy's is the best. But, I will try anything at least once. You can find me setting up movie dates with my Special Olympics friends and then sometimes we go out to eat also. Friends and family are what I live for. Not being in a real relationship before makes it hard for me to get close to someone, but I am willing to try. Taking things slow is mush better for me to get to know someone. I talk a lot sometimes about things that I know well. Ie been involved in the Special Olympics for more than twenty years as an athlete and a volunteer. My sports are bowling and swimming. In the past I have participated in golf, track & filed, and horseback. I expected others to treat me just the same as they would treat their friends. I have been to some great concerts; Barry Manilow, Lonestar, Celine Dion, and Jim Brickman. My very favorite movies are romantic comedies. I am a fan of Superman, Spiderman, and Harry Potter. I can miss Smallville. The 10th Kingdom is the best fairytale of them all. My friends tell me I can be goofy at times. You can find me reading so I don get board. I am lazy and much unorganized most of the time. But I am learning what others learn in life. Leaning toward God sometimes I hope will lead me down the right path. Life isn easy for those like me. I want to be understood from the inside out.
A nonprofit organization, Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in several Olympic-type sports for children and adults intellectually challenged.
Giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. The activities even go beyond sports! The organization receives no federal or state funds, relying entirely on corporate, civic and individual donations ~ operated totally by dedicated volunteers
Special Olympics offers 30 Olympic-type individual and team sports that provide meaningful training and competition opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities, including age-appropriate activities and activities for lower ability athletes.
