Thank you for taking the time to read our "About Me" page. We are the proud parents of twin boys, Christian and Caleb. They are our only two children for right now, and they are now just over 4 years old (born 12/27/02). Christian was born with a cleft lip and palate, and has had SIX surgeries already in his first 4 years of life, and has several more to come in the next few years before he starts public school. I mostly sell on eBay, because we are too middle-class to receive any type of "government help" with his medical bills, and the bills are outrageous despite the fact that we do have medical insurance through my husband's place of employment. His last surgery alone was close to $30,000 and only so much of it gets covered by our insurance policy (which is better than nothing, but not the greatest coverage in the world). I also sell on ebay because I know how hard it is to find cute twin boys' sets that are gently used; so, I am more than happy to pass what our boys have outgrown on to other twins to enjoy as well.
PS- Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to inquire about our son and his well-being. It is very thoughtful & much appreciated! I have met some absolutely WONDERFUL people here on eBay and am sure I will continue to meet more! Christian is currently doing well and is now in speech therapy where they are helping him to learn to eat & swallow to help keep the softer foods and liquids from coming up through the hole in the roof of his mouth and out of his nose all of the time, as well as trying to teach him to speak without air escaping through his nose when he talks to give his speech a more crisp and pronunciated form. He is currently done having surgery now until this coming summer (this is when they will begin to reconstruct the abnormalities with his nose as he is missing the septum to half of his nasal cavity), but your thoughts and prayers have been a blessing to us... THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
Bid with confidence, as I do try very hard to make sure that my buyers are satisfied with their items. I have a high feedback rating with only a few members who gave me problems by making late or no payments, and then out of spite retaliated by trying to ruin my reputation in my feedback by leaving dishonest and rude remarks within my feedback... if you look through it, you will certainly find that I have far more happy buyers (and many of them return buyers as well) than the few people who felt they had to retaliate to my leaving them nagatives for late or non-payments by posting negative feedback for me in return.
I always combine shipping. Generally speaking, I usually offer just a few shipping specials when I sell on eBay and I try my best to stay within a very reasonable amount of actual shipping charges.
ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY OR CANNOT PAY WITHIN THE TIME SPECIFICATIONS ALLOWED! Please do not bid on ANY of my auctions if you do not intend to pay... it is a hassle and a great disappointment to get bidders who you have to try to track down their payment when it is due. I do ask that all buyers MUST make contact within 3 days of auctions end to let me know what form of payment they will be using unless you have already made payment through Paypal within that time. Payments MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 10 days after auction's end... I have had a lot of non-paying bidders and very late payments within the past few months... an unpaid item dispute will be filed on the 7th day after auction's end, and communication is REQUIRED after this point to avoid negative feedback. All items come from a pet-free/smoke-free home, and are generally speaking very gently used if they are not new with tags or new without tags. Insurance is not required, but it is strongly recommended as I cannot be held responsible once I have left your package with the care of the post office. Please, remember that I am human, and although I try to check the items as best I can, I might occasionally miss something... PLEASE contact me BEFORE leaving feedback with any questions or concerns that you have after receieving your items. It is unfair to leave negative feedback without giving me the chance to correct the problem or without even making me aware that there was a problem in the first place. Please try to keep eBay as enjoyable as we can for everybody... THANK YOU!
