Me and the family...

My username is thadukes and I've lived in the Dallas, TX area since 2000.  Prior to that, I lived in the Houston, TX. area for about 24 years.  I'm married with a son born on 2005, a daughter expected 9/2007 and one basset hound.  You'll usually find most of my e-bay bids (buying) for tech. and baby/kid stuff and sometimes stuff that pertains to music, I love music and specifically classic country.  Most of my auction items (selling) are things that I've managed to stumble across around the house.  I'm very particular about my possessions, so you can be assured that anything you bid on will be in great condition, unless otherwise noted...

More about my interests - I love spending time with my wife and kids...  I once had a Kawasaki 750cc Brute Force that I absolutely loved and had decked out the way I wanted it (large tires, underbody armor kit, brush guard, 2" hitch, Warn 2k lb. winch (complete with roller fairlead) w/handle bar control, warn trail lights and back up light - but it fell victim to e-bay with other priorities took over and was auctioned in August 2006.

As for my music, I have an HUGE "digital jukebox" collection that I sync. with a 60GB photo iPOD that I also love and listen to for about 4-5 hrs. a day.  Being a photo iPOD, it also allows me to carry around ALL the pictures of my wife and son to show everybody.

I take my e-bay'ing pretty seriously.  I try and make all my transactions as smooth as possible for the sake of everyone being happier.  If I ever make a bad deal, it won't be on purpose. I am very particular about my possessions, so you can guarantee that when I post something on e-bay, it'll be just as described.  When I receive a payment, I generally will arrange shipment immediately following the end of the auction, unless there's some other great distraction in my life.

Same goes with buying, I try and make payments as fast as possible since I ask the same.  When I sell, I know others want to see their new possessions, so I ship as fast as possible, so I only ask the same in return.  And I generally ship via UPS since they offer the greatest detail in tracking - and, well, it's easier for me. :)

Whether I'm buying or selling, don't find it odd if I strike up a conversation with you.  I enjoy chatting and learning about people - I'm not being nosey; I just like to hear about others and what's going on in their lives.  Just the way I am.
