SHIPPING AND HANDLING
My S/H has always come brought back some misunderstanding to some of you in view of its expensive cost. I am a bit worry on this point and really need to give you a clear picture on this part.
Since the S/H to most of my items are always quoted under Priority Air Parcel Service, the cost, as such, may not look attractive enough if compared to other sellers who can quote quite cheaper S/H charge even sending from the same origin as mind (Thailand).
Well, herefollows are some explanation on the above point
- Priority Air Parcel Service is the most appropriate mailing method due to its fast transit time (7-10 business days to most countries), but the cost is also expensive when compared to the Economy Air Parcel Service (SAL). However, SAL shall take "at least" 3-4 weeks in transit time.
- Since Priority Air Parcel Service take faster transit time, it is easy for you and me to keep monitored on the arrival of the parcel, and the chance of damage and lose is less when compared to SAL.
- Since most of my items will be packed into the Custom-Made Heavy-Duty Mailing box (just to make sure on the highest secure to the item(s) during transit), the gross weight is increasing and make the postage cost higher. However, I believe the trade-off to the safety of items is well understandable and be accpetable to most of you. We are dealing with the Collectibles items, not other mass/cheap products, so that some incremental in S/H charge may be okay and be reasonable enough to be accepted.
- However, just to avoid any further inconvenients to some of you who may prefer an economy S/H, I have just added another mailing option using SAL for your choice. However, I hope you will also accept the disadvantages on this method if compared to the Priority Air Parcel Service.
Postage Slip vs. Thai Stamps
I am just recently requested from a friendly French License Plate collector that whether I can use Thailand postage stamps on the parcel box, instead of a single Postage Slip/Ticket, just for his children's stamp collection... I hope his chlidren would be so much happy to find a total of 30+ beautiful stamps attached on his daddy's parcel box !!!
Thank to his valuable request which brings me an inspiration idea. With immediate action, I will try to use as much as possible the Thailand Colorful Graphic Stamps on the parcel box. Maybe you may find these little collectible pieces will be valuable to yourselves, your children, your friends, or boy/girl next door.
It would be great fun for us to introduce or start a new hobby to someone, and the Stamp Collecting shall be a very first easy entry.
I hope this value-added to my service would appreciate to some of you.
This is what I really hope it would be happen.
Amulets ... Why In This Modern World ???
Sound far different from most of my interests. Having Coco Cola items or the License Plates and Buddhist Amulets on the list next to each others may make you feel a bit strange to my interests, right?
Being Buddist, I have chances to come accross many vintage Buddhism amulets. Due to various in styles and purposes (praise) of each particular item, I feel many of them are so much at the precious collectibles level.
Besides, since many of the local Thai amulets are Hand-Made by respective Guru Monks, and some have been aged back to the past 70-100 years, I have no doubt considering the amulets to be in my personal collection.
At this moment, I have select some surplus amulets from my own collection out for eBay. Please note that most of these amulet items have been carefully selected and checked for authentic before they were acquired to my collection. Some of them have been with me since 10-15 years and can be considered as vintage/antique if we will count its age back upto the making date.
I hope you will enjoy viewing some of my amulet items on the list as it may inspire your idea in adding some more precious collectibles items.
Be blessed !!!
