HI! WELCOME TO MY LIFE!
I hope you will enjoy reading about me and feel comfortable dealing with me both as a buyer and as a seller. I am VERY honest and professional and I hope all Ebayers can see this by the following bio as well as my feedback record on Ebay.
I'm a 50ish (ouch!) year old retired Spanish teacher. I am the mother of two great children. First there is Stephanie, who graduated cum laude from the Park School of Journalism at Ithaca College. She is a reporter at an Upstate New York newspaper. (she is a dynamite writer-watch for her in the future!). My older child is Tom, is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and is now a talented professional trumpet player who is studying for his Masters degree at Yale. (As you can see I'm very proud!)I like classical music, and browsing eBay for bargains!!
WHAT DO I COLLECT?
I guess quite a few things. I have an extensive collection (over 200 pieces) of Hummels of many different sizes and trademarks. They are my favorites, and I'm always looking for a good deal! I also collect brass figural bells, and have bought many off of eBay. I love Waterford, and my selling specialties are antiquarian books (especially Civil War era), Waterford crystal, sterling silver and Victorian silverplate, Royal Doulton figurines, and sheet music. I'm learning more every day and hope to become a bonafide expert in the future. I own a home-based business called "The Fitz, Antiquities, etc." Look for my finds on Ebay, where I recently changed my user id to reflect the name of the business. I love antiques and collectibles and spend a lot of my free time looking for "treasures" at estate sales, auctions, and flea markets. The business has grown to a point where it can supplement my retirement with income from the business I so enjoy.
