The Sun and Moon have always been objects or worship, which made up the character of different Gods and Goddesses. They also resemble the waxing and waning Moon.     Ghost or Spirit?   A ghost is someone who has passed on yet remains "stuck" between the physical world and the Afterlife. They do not cross through for reasons from denial to refusal & stay in this "betweeness". A spirit is a person who has passed on. Who has gone through "The Light" and into the Afterlife. There acceptance of their life lessons allows them to move on & return to our world peacefully as Spirits. Spirits come back to watch over us, and to comfort us.
